The Western Fair District is a multi-faceted, not for profit organization based in the heart of London, Ontario. Through its facilities and events it is a leading year-round agri-food, events, sports and recreation destination for residents of the city and far beyond, anchored by the annual Western Fair, one of the Top 100 Events in Ontario.
Western Fair Association (WFA) was granted a Provincial Charter and incorporated as an agricultural society on April 23, 1867 under the Ontario Agricultural Societies Act (the establishing legislation was replaced by the Agricultural and Horticultural Organizations Act in 1990. In the intervening years WFA has gone beyond its original incarnation as an agricultural exhibition to become a District that offers the annual Western Fair, The Farm Show, The National Poultry Show, Cannabis Wiki Conference and Expo, along with many facilities that support the community: The Market at WFD, The Grove at WFD, The Wormery at WFD, The Raceway at WFD, The Top of the Fair and Carousel Room at WFD, The Sports Centre at WFD and The Agriplex at WFD all within the parameters of its provincial charter.
One of the leading employers in the region, the Western Fair District has a huge impact on the local economy and is a major contributor to the community in a wide variety of ways.
